How to Be Happy

This photo represents many parts of my answer about how to be happy. Let me explain why I really like the gnome sitting on a frog with his back to us.

This statue is colorful; and that's how a happy life looks. Our life feels better when its attractive and interesting.

By facing away from us, this gnome says he is not concerned with what we think of him. That kind of tuning out the "real" world is also a big part of being happy.

Finally, he is a GNOME, which symbolizes imagination and fantasy. Using our imagination is the golden key to learning how to be happy.

Here is a video that will explain it best to you:

I spend some of my time imagining a world of peace (Earth 2). If you are like this too, check out the "Ten Million Clicks For Peace" initiative and check on how I am trying to make a difference: just look at my globe (below) that measures my success in spreading the wish for peace in real time (click on link below photo).

Clicking on the yellow tag on this page is free and makes a difference in bringing love and light to the poor souls on our planet. This does wonders for your stress relief!

Happy Life Action Plan

Every time I look at or point to something I don't like, either with a finger, or my thoughts, I make it nearly impossible to get what I want.

Why? Because all the wonderful things I want can only get into experience and space when the energy in me and around me is as pleasant and wonderful as the things and experiences I am wishing for. Positive thinking is more than most of us understand.

You can try the solution that works for me (and many others): Next time you see or hear something that makes you feel sad, angry or disappointed, turn away from it, stop talking or crying, and instead start using your imagination and your words to create the opposite of what you just experienced.

Yes, you will pretend it's not happening.

Start by making up a positive statement that's the opposite of what you are experiencing. Be sure not to use any negative words like "not" or "no" or "none".

For example: You see someone drunk and it makes you angry or sad. Your natural response might be to yell at that person, or nag at them or make them feel ashamed. Maybe you would think hurtful and mean thoughts about that person. Perhaps you would be scared and cry. Even thinking about how bad your situation is would be normal.

But instead of doing what seems reasonable...Instead, these words could be used: "My friend/spouse is sober and fun to be with!" While repeating this a few times, use your imagination to see this person sober and recall fun memories, until you can create the feeling you would have if it were true.

A normal emotional reaction is not going to make us happy. We can learn how to be happy by using our imagination and pretending that we didn't see or experience that bad situation. Yes, we can be the bird that sticks its head in the sand.

Only we are actually much smarter, because we understand now that all of our wishes, wants and desires vibrate at a high frequency and in order for us to have them, we must vibrate at the same high frequency, so we can match up to our wishes which will make them "real" and appear in our life.

When we allow ourselves to have a natural reaction to a bad situation, we are doing the complete opposite of what will fix the problem. We are actually blocking the solution from happening.

So, don't look at anything bad, don't listen to anything that makes you feel bad, and don't even talk about what makes you feel bad. Pretend it isn't happening (and later, that it didn't happen).

The new rule for how to be happy is: Think and say what you wish were true every time something negative gets your attention.

Then go off and do something that makes you feel better.

Practice this new way of dealing with disappointment every chance you get and you will be able to change your life like magic!

Now you know the secret for how to be happy.

TV is a Downer

Realize that when you watch bad things on TV, your body's energy vibration drops as your body energy matches itself to whatever your mind is thinking and whatever your eyes are seeing.

Allowing your vibration to drop always blocks your life's desires from becoming real. Protect your mind from all negativity, and this includes most of what's on TV and in the newspaper.

Nothing is More Important Than You Feeling Good

Your number one priority is keeping your good feelings going all day, every day. When you can feel happy, or optimistic, throughout the majority of your day, you will experience a much more joyous life; and from that place grows love which you can share with those around you.

Next time you catch yourself saying or thinking anything negative, just smile and chuckle and say to yourself: "Oh silly me, there I go doing that negative thing I sometimes do."

Laughing it off is a jovial kind of self-correction which keeps your energy vibration from dropping... and it's a simple as 1, 2, 3.

Summary of How to be Happy

  • Turn your face away from the negative
  • Create a positive verbal statement of what you wish you were experiencing
  • Use your imagination to see and feel the opposite of what is happening.

Good luck practicing matching your vibration to the happy you who already has everything you've ever wished for.

If you can share this advice on how to be happy with your friends and family, and you will have more happy people around you- who in turn make it easier for you to keep your energy vibrations up. !
