!My secret weapon: organic, virgin coconut oil
Whenever anyone in my family acts like they might be getting sick (sneezing, coughing, fever), I give them a small glass of warm orange juice with a tablespoon of coconut stirred in until it's melted and smoothe. They drink one of these 3 times a day and usually by the next day the symptoms are gone. If this remedy is started later into an illness it may take 3 days of symptoms reducing slowly until the person is good as new. There are almost no more sickness events in our house, which is quite an accomplishment with 3 school-aged children who spend all day with sick children. When someone at home does come down with something- a few anti-viral doses and a day of sleeping and the person is good to go. I love knowing I have this miracle cure.
